Heritage High School has 2 jazz bands. Students are audition into Jazz Ensembles based on the experience level of the students. Auditions take place every year in early Spring (late March/early April). Jazz I performs higher difficultly music in standard big band instrumentation. Jazz II is for all students interested in Jazz. All jazz band students must also enroll in a concert band or Orchestra, with exceptions for specific rhythm section members.
