The Heritage Instrumental Music Program relies very heavily on parent participation. Maintaining a high caliber program requires a great deal of fundraising and volunteer support from our families. Our band director, his staff, and our talented hard-working kids need the help of every family.

To help, you need to complete this LPS volunteer clearance which is valid for 12 months (i.e., this must be completed each school year). This clearance includes a background check and covers anyone who will spend time with the kids without the direct supervision of a LPS employee. Examples could include working in the uniform room, working on props, chaperoning, etc.  There is a a background check fee associated with this clearance that will be noted on the LPS volunteer site.

If your volunteer role involves driving kids, you will need to fill out this additional form for drivers. We need lots of parent drivers for our Tag Day fundraising event, as well as for other trips throughout the year when there are no buses provided. Please let me know if you able able to volunteer and I will share the form with you.
